Individual Therapy
What is therapy? Talk therapy, as the name suggests, is using dialogue to process experiences, explore feelings, and find ways to cope with life’s challenges.
Therapy is indicated for anyone who struggles with issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, unresolved trauma, relationship/work/school/family etc. challenges, or other problems that interfere with everyday life. Learning to adjust and integrate into life in a new country is also a topic for therapy. When your own coping skills have stopped working sufficiently, or you’d simply like to develop new ones, therapy can help.
Therapy involves a unique kind of dialogue- one that doesn’t provide ready answers, but rather helps you find your own answers and solutions. After all, while the therapist has training and experience in psychological distress, you are the expert on yourself and your experience. A therapist will listen to you with understanding, empathy, and acceptance. A therapist can help you find a new perspective on your challenges, and help you find healthy ways of coping that are appropriate for you. Therapy can also help you discover underlying thoughts and feelings you have been entirely unaware of. It can help untangle jumbles of confusing or conflicting feelings and make sense of them. Therapy can be long or short, and solution-focused or feelings based, depending on your own needs and presenting issues.
There’s no need to struggle alone, as help is available. An empathetic, non-judgmental listening ear, a fresh point of view, and a partner to find effective coping skills can be found in individual therapy.

Couple Therapy
For adults, a romantic partnership is usually the most important attachment relationship. It can be the source of our greatest joy and comfort, as well as the source of the most pain and distress. Couple therapy can help relationships grow and improve so that they cause less pain and more joy.
Couple therapy is appropriate for anyone who is struggling with a relationship crisis (infidelity or the like), or for those who feel as though they’ve grown apart from their partner and want to regain closeness. It’s also appropriate for those who want to improve their communication and break negative interactional cycles. Couple therapy can also help couples who have no problem talking about things at home- but whose conversations tend to be repeating dead-ends of every other unsuccessful or frustrating conversation they’ve had before. Finally, couple therapy can help relationships that are already good become even better.
In couple therapy, both partners get to voice their thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere- and be heard. Couple therapy can provide a new perspective and spark a new kind of conversation. Therapy can help clear up misunderstandings, resolve standing conflicts, and break unsuccessful patterns. It can help uncover what each partner is longing for, and help the other also understand this need. In therapy, couples can obtain tools to use in their everyday interactions for the benefit of the relationship. Couple therapy can also help rekindle withering relationships and encourage new growth and closeness.

Individual Psychotherapy Session Rates:
50 minutes- €100, 80 minutes- €150
(60 minutes- €120 available by request)
Couple Therapy Session Rates:
50 minutes- €120, 80 minutes- €180
*I am a Kela-approved provider for family- and couple psychotherapy. Individual psychotherapy is self-pay/insurance only.
**For late cancellations or reschedules (within 24 hours of the appointment), a late cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled session rate will be charged. This fee will be waived if the appointment is rescheduled due to illness. For no-shows, the full cost of the session will be charged.
